Edna Mae Washington Park

Situated east of Downtown—on 28.99 acres north of I-10 East Freeway—Edna Mae Washington Park remains a popular outdoor destination for visitors of all ages and abilities in the Baytown area of Houston.

The multi-use park makes room for a tennis and netball court, a basketball pavilion, two baseball fields, picnic areas, a complete playground, as well as a spray park. There is a restroom facility, set between the baseball fields and the picnic areas, as well as a community center and equestrian center. Near the entrance, guests will find shaded picnic tables equipped with built-in chessboards.

Cool off on a hot Houston day at Edna Mae's spray park, which is available on the first Saturday of April until the last Saturday of October.
